What an electrician site needs to do
Most visitors are trying to answer three questions quickly: do you handle their job, do you work in their area, and can they trust you enough to make contact?
Show the right services
EV chargers, panel upgrades, inspections, outlet installs, emergency call-outs, lighting, rewires, and commercial work should be easy to find.
Build trust fast
Your site should show proof: licenses, reviews, photos, service areas, clear contact details, and a professional layout that does not look abandoned.
Make enquiries easy
A visitor should not have to hunt for the next step. Phone, email, contact form, and service-area prompts need to be obvious on mobile.
Real research, not theory
We reviewed 30 electrician websites. Most are losing enquiries.
27% had no website at all. 63% had no tracking. 40%+ had generic page titles. See the 6 most common mistakes and how to fix them.
What electricians say about WebDoneNow
Here is the kind of feedback we hear from electricians who wanted a clean site without the agency runaround.
“I had been putting off getting a website for two years. WebDoneNow had a clean site live in under a week. The contact form actually works and I have had three enquiries from it already.”
Mike R.
Residential electrician, Leeds
“The service pages made a real difference. I added separate pages for EV chargers and panel upgrades and started showing up in local searches within a few weeks.”
Sarah K.
Electrical contractor, Austin TX
“What I liked is that they explained everything in plain English. No jargon, no upselling. The price was clear, the timeline was clear, and the site does what it needs to do.”
Tony D.
Master electrician, Manchester

Electrician website FAQs
The questions electricians ask most often before getting started.
How much does an electrician website cost?
The Starter package is a one-off £299 for a clean, mobile-ready site with home, services, and contact pages. The Standard package is £599 and adds individual service pages, project examples, service-area pages, and enhanced local SEO. Monthly maintenance starts at £49/month if you want ongoing updates and hosting.
How long does it take to build?
Most electrician sites go live within 48 hours of receiving your business details, photos, and service list. If you need emergency call-out pages, service-area pages, or custom content, it may take a day or two longer. You will get a clear timeline before we start.
Do I get my own domain name?
Yes. A standard domain is included in the Starter package within the allowance. You own the domain and the site. If you already have a domain, we can use that instead.
Can you add emergency call-out and service-area pages?
Yes. The Standard package includes individual service pages (EV chargers, panel upgrades, inspections, emergency call-outs, lighting, rewires) and service-area pages so customers can find you by location. You can see how this looks in the electrician demo.
Do you set up Google Business Profile?
Yes. We help you set up and optimise your Google Business Profile as part of the build. This includes service categories, service areas, opening hours, and a description that matches your website. You can read more about this on our Google Business Profile for trades page.
What about SEO? Will my site show up on Google?
Every site is built with clean page titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, and a structure that Google can read. We do not promise instant rankings, but your site will be technically ready for local search. The Standard package adds enhanced local SEO with service-area pages and schema. You can also add ongoing SEO support if you want to build rankings over time.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. The site is yours. You can update text and images yourself, or you can use our maintenance plan and we will handle updates for you. The maintenance plan includes hosting, security, and two blog posts per month on the Pro tier.
What if I need changes after launch?
Minor edits (text swaps, phone number changes, photo updates) are included in the first 14 days. After that, you can use the maintenance plan for ongoing changes or request one-off updates. You always own the site and the domain.
