Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between WebDoneNow ("we", "us", "our") and any client ("you", "your") who purchases website design, development, or maintenance services from us. By paying a deposit or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services We Provide

WebDoneNow designs, builds, and maintains websites for small businesses. Our service tiers are:

All timelines begin once we have received your content (photos, business information, service details). If we are waiting on content from you, the delivery clock pauses.

2. Pricing and Payment

Deposit

  • A 20% deposit is required before work begins
  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced (see Refund Policy for details)

Balance

  • The remaining balance is due when your website goes live on your domain
  • We will send you a payment link for the balance

Monthly Maintenance (Optional)

  • Monthly maintenance plans cover hosting, updates, security patches, and minor content changes
  • Monthly fees are billed in advance via Stripe
  • You may cancel monthly maintenance at any time with 30 days' notice
  • Cancellation of monthly maintenance does not affect your website, but we are no longer responsible for updates or security

Currency

  • UK clients are billed in GBP
  • US clients are billed in USD
  • All prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) unless stated otherwise

3. What You Provide

To build your website efficiently, you agree to provide:

  • Accurate business information (name, services, service area, contact details)
  • Photos of your work (or consent to use stock images)
  • Any existing branding (logo, colours, fonts) if you have them
  • Access to your domain registrar if you want us to deploy to your domain
  • Timely responses to our questions during the build

If we do not receive content within 14 days of deposit, we may use placeholder content to complete the build. You can request content changes later.

4. What We Provide

  • A professionally designed website built to the specifications of your chosen tier
  • Mobile-responsive design that works on phones, tablets, and desktops
  • Basic SEO setup (meta tags, page titles, alt text)
  • Contact form or booking system as specified in your tier
  • Deployment to your domain (or a subdomain if you don't have a domain yet)
  • One round of revisions within 7 days of website going live
  • Ongoing maintenance if you have a monthly plan

5. Revisions

  • One round of revisions is included free of charge within 7 days of your website going live
  • Additional revisions or significant changes outside the original scope will be quoted separately
  • Revisions do not include redesigning the entire site — they cover tweaks to content, layout adjustments, and minor changes

6. Intellectual Property

  • You own the content you provide (photos, text, business information)
  • We own the website template, code structure, and design framework
  • Upon full payment, you have a perpetual licence to use your website as deployed
  • We may use your completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing

7. Hosting and Domain

  • If you have your own domain, we will deploy your site to it (you retain full ownership)
  • If you do not have a domain, we can deploy to a subdomain of webdonenow.com or help you purchase a domain
  • Hosting is included in monthly maintenance plans; without a maintenance plan, hosting is your responsibility
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers

8. Your Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate information and not to request content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of business information displayed on your website
  • You agree not to use your website for illegal activities
  • You are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for content you provide

9. Data and Privacy

  • We process client and lead data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • We comply with UK GDPR, PECR, and the US CAN-SPAM Act for marketing activities
  • You are responsible for ensuring your website complies with data protection laws relevant to your business and jurisdiction

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount you have paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g. lost revenue, lost customers)
  • We are not liable for issues caused by third-party services (hosting providers, domain registrars, Stripe, email providers)
  • We are not liable for website downtime outside our control

11. Cancellation

  • You may cancel before work has started for a full deposit refund
  • Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable (see Refund Policy)
  • Monthly maintenance can be cancelled with 30 days' notice
  • If you cancel mid-build, you receive whatever has been completed up to that point

12. Termination

We may terminate services if:

  • Payment is more than 14 days overdue
  • You request illegal, defamatory, or infringing content
  • You breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within 7 days of written notice

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

14. Governing Law

  • For UK clients: these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
  • For US clients: these Terms are governed by applicable US federal and state laws
  • Disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where the client is based
